[CM] s7 listener response

I am trying to enter commands into the s7 listener but I am not getting any 
response with the enter key.  The keys all work fine and the paren 
highlighting is working nicely.  I just never get any response from the eval 
loop.  It seems like a simple thing but I'm stumped.  I'm running Snd 
version 11.2 with s7 versin 1.41 on a slackware v13 computer.
Any help appreciated.. I'm lost without a REPL
