[CM] CM-GTK woes again

Greetings:

  Compiling cm-gtk under SBCL and CMUCL results in this message looping 
endlessly:

; CM install directory: "/home/dlphilp/cm/"

  After a few hundred of these errors I have to Ctrl-C to get out of Lisp.

  CM 2.9.1, CFFI 060424, CM-GTK 1.0.1.
