[CM] CLM versions

Ah, I see part of the issue here. Bill mentions that one could have 
just looked at the tarfile date on the ftp server. However, I've been 
accessing the tarfile via the link on:

http://ccrma-www.stanford.edu/software/clm/

That web page gives no version/date indication and the link goes 
straight to the tarfile.

Maybe it would be better if the link went to the ftp directory rather 
than the file itself (easiest),

or the revision date could be listed on the web page with a script that 
lifts the date from the tarfile (more difficult, not much advantage to 
the latter).
