[CM] Changing the playtime of a file with snd

Hi,

I'd like to know if its possible to change the playtime 
of a file of a file while keeping the pitch.
(eg. a 1 kHz sine in the in file should be a 1 kHz sine in the out file)

I've tried it with sox:

sox in.wav out.wav stretch 0.95

but the out.wav sounds realy bad.
