[CM] Let's hear from CM 1.x users(?)

Hello all,

I'll chime in. . .

I prefer CM 1.x.  I have rewritten a sizable chunk of cm1.4 for cm2.x and
after spending a great deal of time, have decided to abandon it.  I will
probably end up using MAX/MSP for a course in algorithmic composition.
Granted, MAX/MSP has its own limitations :-(

cm2.x was released just as I finished a book in cm1.4.  The book was to be
published by the MIT Press.  I've transferred the book contract to the
University of Michigan as an e-book which should be released early 2003.
