Juan Reyes has written a new instrument: maxf.ins which I've added to the clm tarball; it's based on some recent ideas of Max Mathews (I think) and is described as "[a] sort of Modal Synthesis [...] it can be called Additive Synthesis in which a resonator is initialized to generate exponentially decaying sinusoids at a desired phase."
