[Stk] Tutorial out of date?

I'm going through the tutorial at present. It seems that some of the pages
are out of date. For example,

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/software/stk/crealtime.html
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/software/stk/instruments.html

have programs that do not compile with the version of stk I've downloaded as
a FC8 package from ccrma.

In particular, the RtAudio class seems very different.

Are these tutorial pages out of date? If so, are there replacement versions?
If no, will the modified versions of these programs that I'm writing as a
learning exercise be useful to anyone?
