Dear all,
You are warmly invited to a series of Artful Design events, happening
this Thursday and Friday at Stanford. It starts Thursday (11/1) with an
Artful Design book presentation and an evening laptop orchestra concert
(by the splendid Sideband from Princeton) -- followed by an Artful
Design Symposium at CCRMA on Friday (11/2), themed on the following topics:
• Session #1: The Ethics of Design
What does it mean to design ethically?
• Session #2: The Craft of Design
What does it mean to design well?
• Session #3: The Pedagogy of Design
How do we teach design? (at the intersection of
engineering, art, the humanities, and social sciences)
