Hi,
I just tested quickly the New kernel on Fedora 8 and it seems to do the same as the last 2.6.23 kernel : Freebob doesn't crash/ zombify anymore, no xruns in Jack but many many crackles in sounds (like Xruns). :o(

btw Jack 0.109 seems to be ok for me.

Mysth-R

2008/2/18, Hector Centeno <hcengar@gmail.com>:

I tested my USB keyboard (midistudio1) and a UC-16 knob box and didn't
have any problems. The only small and unimportant detail is that with
this kernel I get a abundantly verbose boot before it goes to the
Fedora's graphic boot screen.
