<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Thanks for the tips Fernando, I tried pretty much
all of the kernel/X combos, none of which worked (though the standard RedHat
w/nv driver at least didn't lock up the system). After looking around the RH
website, someone had mention removing magicdev rpm altogether, so I tried
that and lo and behold, I can now burn CDs under X using any combination of
RH or Planet kernels and both the nvidia and nv drivers. Thanks for your
