After a day's work I also added a brand new build of gem for fc23/24, 
also modeled (mostly) on the Debian packaging. This includes:

gem, gem-doc, gem-extra, gem-devel and a bunch of gem-plugin-* 
subpackages that add all the supported formats (avifile, fc1394, dv4l, 
jpeg, lqt, magick, mpeg3, sgi, tiff, unpac and v4l2)
