Merry Christmas!

I didn't mean to trivialise, Fernando, 'a few days' means 'an indeterminate time of, hopefully, not to great a length'.

Alan, I don't mean to be nosey...are you composing or using fedora for replay?

Hi Alan,
Fedora is a very fast moving distro, Planet CCRMA will catch up in a few
days.

Or perhaps more than a few days... Setting up koji took a lot of work and I'm not done, but I can build packages.

Anyway, just before boarding a plane for a trip to visit family I managed to (finally!) get a few packages built for Fedora 25. Not a lot but something to start with. On the other hand most of the packages are already in Fedora, right? Very limited testing, so only for good sports...

The URL and repo follows the convention on the web page, just replace 24 with 25... For example:

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux/planetccrma/25/x86_64/repoview/

There is a RT patched kernel of course. I know it boots in my desktop at home but that is about it for testing (just built it today). It is based on 4.8.14 plus rt9, the latest. Not even a proper "planetccrma-core" meta package (sorry, no more time today) but you can always install the kernel-rt-* packages by hand.

Pure Data is now just vanilla pd from Miller (pd-extended is gone as it is no longer maintained) and I did not have time to build all the super nice extensions that would normally be there. Sorry, this will have to wait.

SuperCollider is there (3.7.2) plus the SC3 plugins.

Chuck and MiniAudicle are there as well, also Linuxsampler and friends, aliki, zita-ajbridge, zita-njbridge, kmidimon, brutefir, aeolus and a few others.

So, that's all for now... If you have something you really need let us know and I'll see if I can build it.

Enjoy!
Best, and Happy Holidays for all!

By the way, welcome to Fedora - and, also, if you an audiophile, welcome
to good sound from Fedora.

Andy

Greetings,

I am hoping for some advice, I have a fresh install of Fedora 25 (a new
to Fedora) and I have been trying to install Planet CCRMA software but
if I try to install software I get these error messages:

yum install supercollider-world
Redirecting to '/usr/bin/dnf install supercollider-world' (see 'man
yum2dnf')

Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'planetcore', disabling.
Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'planetccrma', disabling.
Last metadata expiration check: 1:42:11 ago on Thu Dec 8 19:54:56 2016.
No package supercollider-world available.
Error: Unable to find a match.

I see there is no repo for Fedora 25 on the website- but I assumed the
repos would still be backward compatible ? Thank you for any advice-
much appreciated.

Alan
