I have not see this (yet). Not much in that update (only one change in 
the rt patch that I can see) except for bug fixes in the mainline 
kernel. Do you see the same kernel modules loaded in both kernels? 
("lsmod"). How about interrupts? The same? Anything weird in the output 
of dmesg?
