[PlanetCCRMA] Something's forcing HDMI as default ALSA device

You can set the default alsa module using /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

Set the card you want to be first to 0.
This won't help you if you are running pulseaudio though because
pulseaudio has it own method.
The only things I know (or want to) about pulse audio is pulseaudio -k
to kill it and pasuspender -- jackd to prevent it automatically
respawning when starting jackd.
