The update did address the verbose issue, but did not solve the problem 
with Pd. The moment I turn dsp on in Pd the interface becomes extremely 
slow to repond (sliders, toggle buttons). I didn't even try to edit 
anything.
Perhaps the problem is with Pd itself, but it wasn't problematic before 
the latest update.
