[PlanetCCRMA] ADAT positional sync, RME and Jack

Hi.

Does anyone know if the positional information from the ADAT sync input
on an RME card (D-sub connector) ever gets through to alsa clients like
e.g. jack? If it does it should be possible to slave ardour's transport
to an Alesis ADAT player, right?
