[PlanetCCRMA] Hammerfall-DSP Multiface problems

sorry to pepper the list with little observations, but i have another one which is pretty interesting:

i just decided to confirm my original observations, making sure i was running alsa-tools 1.0.25-1.fc16.x86_64 with the 3.1.0-7.fc16.x86_64 kernel. hdspmixer does seem to be fine in that combination.
and, to re-cap, both kernels 3.2.17-1.rt28.1.fc16.ccrma.x86_64.rt and 3.3.7-1.fc16.x86_64 cause the errors in Jack2 and hdspmixer from alsa-tools 1.0.25-1.fc16.x86_64

i suppose that all helps to suggest that this really IS a kernel issue.
