I used fluxbox with Fedora 13 on a older machine (because gnome was a 
dog) and liked it a whole bunch.
In Fedora 16 with this newer machine I have been trying the LXDE desktop 
which is part of base packages and like it very much.
You can install them all and select at user login to see which you like 
the best or just to free up the machine.
