Many thanks for the quick reply.
I have been trying a lot of synths / samplers / lapsa-dssi-lv2 plugins
lately - removing those which I didn't need or those which appeared to
be buggy . I wanted to make sure I still had all the core planet-ccrma
apps installed.
In the end I looked at the dependencies in the core package and
installed then individually.
