Fernando,

thank you for the information.  
Is it normal to see jackdmp in the jack messages, or will that only show up with a bleeding edge svn build?  

Also, I have been following the Fedora Musician's Guide and I have been trying to use supercollider-gedit.  However, I am having problems enabling the SC plugin for gedit.  I remember that it was a certain package.  Do you happen to know what this package is?
