Hi,

I have been using the planetccrma kernels (and the CCRMA system in
general) since Fedora3 but in the last 6 months switched to Kernels
generated as rpm's by Philippe Carrière
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/La-page-Web-of-Phil/ as he has been
generating Fedora9 kernels which support the Tascam US-122L USB audio
interface that I use. I have recently installed the stock
2.6.27.9-73.fc9 kernel (which has support for the US-122L built in)
together with some kmod modules supplied by Philippe to upgrade USB from
1.1 to 2.0 and the whole system has been working perfectly. However,
after installing the latest ccrma jack upgrade which appeared on my
system this morning I cannot get jack to load.
The Syslog messages are as follows:-

Jan 20 09:40:50 localhost yum: Updated:
jack-audio-connection-kit-0.116.1-4.fc9.ccrma.i386
Jan 20 09:40:50 localhost yum: Updated:
jack-audio-connection-kit-example-clients-0.116.1-4.fc9.ccrma.i386
Jan 20 10:17:13 localhost kernel: qjackctl[23453] general protection
ip:4d5d4ab7 sp:bfce2660 error:0 in ld-2.8.so[4d5c6000+1c000]

Can I revert to the earlier version which was working?

Joe Curtis
