I'm starting to do some testing of the kernels on the machines.
First one is a little "Shuttle" box:
nvidia nForce3 chipset
SiI 3512 onboard sata controller
nvidia NV43(GeForce 66 GT), 128meg ram, AGP card
Audiophile sound card
Athlon 64 3000+ (2GHz)
2 gig RAM
using xorg's "nv" video driver
KDE 4.1 desktop (well tweaked and tuned)
kernel is fedora's stock 2.6.26.5-45.fc9.i686
running jack real time, 2 periods at 32 frames (1.45 msec latency)
running hydrogen's "jazzy" demo continuously
doing normal desktop things (firefox, moving windows around/between desktops, etc)
running for 2 hours with no xruns
Going to go do updates and install the new kernels and bristal now(on above machine)
