Fun fun fun...
Or you might try to transfer the latest kernel package you can find via
a usb stick and see if that includes a driver for that hardware.
Hardware moves too fast... (for example a motherboard I have here does
not have wired ethernet under the original Fedora 9 kernel, but
recognizes it will the current kernel upgrade).
