[PlanetCCRMA] slow keyboard and mouse response with real-time kernel 2.6.24.3-1.rt1.2.fc8.ccrmart (x86_64 architecture)

Dear all,

I installed fedora core 8 (kernel version 2.6.24.2-34.fc8) and the 
planet ccrma kernel (version 2.6.24.3-1.rt1.2.fc8.ccrmart, x86_64 
architecture) on a Dell Latitude D630 laptop with Intel Core 2Duo T7500 
processors. With the Fedora core 8 kernel, the keyboard and mouse 
response is OK. However, with the real-time planet ccrma kernel, the 
keyboard and mouse response is slow (except when using Xterm). The use 
of slow keys is disabled so nothing seems wrong with the keyboard settings.

Did anyone encounter this problem and have an idea on how to solve this?
