Ardour 2.2 will be in Fedora shortly.  I pushed it out into the 
development tree (soon to be Fedora 9) recently, and once I have a 
chance to look into it I'll push it out to F7 and F8 as well.  Hopefully 
tonight (although it will take a little time to migrate out).
