Hi List,
I started using the Planet CCRMA package a few months ago. It works well on
my Fedora core 7 box and I look forward to going to core 8 after acquiring
more hardware. I am very thankful to all the folks who put in the time on
the software and package to bring it to the rest of the world.
After digesting the Rosegarden Companion and getting a good handle on using
Rosegarden I am now starting to work with ZynAddSubFx and Hydrogen. I ran
into a snag on using the effects in ZynAddSubFx and Hydrogen, however. Like
Rosegarden both use the LADSPA plug-ins, but in both of their
effects-settings window they only have pots and sliders to set the effects
parameters, unlike Rosegarden, which lets you double click on the pot and
opens up an input-field so you can type in a precise value. Did I miss the
page on those settings for Hydrogen and ZynAddSubFx? I did an honest search
for any information I could find on it, but came up with nothing.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
Trying to match up delay times is a nightmare using sliders and pots with a
mouse. I am a pretty advanced linux user, so any pointers to any backdoors
or configuration files would be great as well.
Thanks again,
--Sean
