Rakarrack works on my sempron-based PC. Here is the flags section of
/proc/cpuinfo:

flags           : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge
mca cmov pat pse36 clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 syscall nx mmxext
fxsr_opt lm 3dnowext 3dnow up pni lahf_lm ts fid vid ttp tm stc

The obvious difference is SSE2 support. It looks like a build
optimization issue to me; I don't know how disabling SSE2 would impact
performance on SSE2-enabled systems though. I can't really look into
it now as I will be on holiday for the next couple of weeks.
