[PlanetCCRMA] PCI Sound Card for a laptop w/ miniPCI port? Or other ideas?

This is the E-Mu 0404 USB product, correct? Has anyone got this to work under
Alsa? When I first saw this, I looked around, and it seemed that early
indications were that there were difficulties getting it to behave. I would
LOVE to be proven wrong, however; it is a great looking box.
