The shortcuts in the menu are very few (3 of them if I remember
correctly), those appear to at least start in my limited tests. Some of
the other synths that you mention (there are many, do a "startBristol"
from a terminal to see them all) don't work for me either. I don't know
if it is a bug or a problem with the build.
