[PlanetCCRMA] M-Audio MobilePre

I've got one attached.  I've disable the onboard sound card, and 
installed midisport-firmware-1.2-1.fc6.ccrma.i386.  I get playback, and 
I get inputs in Ardour.  However, I can't get an audio signal on the 
inputs.  I've got a test tone connected to the inst/line input on the 
front and I see a signal light, but nothing in Ardour.  Can anyone help?
