[PlanetCCRMA] skype, artsd and jackd?

Hi all,

I'm trying to get skype work with Jack - no fun so far.
Looking at various readmes and forums, if I had jack support for the
artsd, it'd be fine.

Alas, the arts in FC6 doesn't have it:

[hakank at photon ~]$ artsd -A
possible choices for the audio i/o method:

  toss      Threaded Open Sound System
  esd       Enlightened Sound Daemon
  null      No Audio Input/Output
  alsa      Advanced Linux Sound Architecture
  oss       Open Sound System

Is there a way of loading a plugin or is there a CCRMA version of it
with jackd, or do I have to get my hands dirty? :)
