[PlanetCCRMA] japa trouble

Hello:
I've just yum updated my main ccrma box to include a new ccrma kernel
(thanks!) and new versions of jaaa and japa.
Now, when I start japa, it runs for about four seconds and quits, at
which time I get 1(2) xrun(s). This happens consistently.
When run within the command line, it says simply "illegal instruction,"
after having exhibited the same behavior.
Oddly it runs normally on my laptop with the same updates.
jaaa runs normally.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks,
Michael
