I'm in FC2 at the moment, but in /etc on FC5 next to the yum.repos.d there is 
another Yum directory. Go into this one and there should be something for the 
installonlyn plugin. Yum by default only will install 3 kernels, and any 
newer ones that come down through updates will result in earlier ones being 
removed. You need to disable the plugin, changing it to enabled=0.

I hope you're not on dialup like I am. 700MB of updates on dialup isn't much 
fun. I'm DLing Musix at the moment, just under 700MB, 71% done, and probably 
won't be finished until tomorrow lunchtime.  Nearly 48 hours altogether, 
allowing for the fact that during the day I'm using some bandwidth for 
e-mails, and Internet radio.
