I also use rosegarden with large sound fonts. But I use them in Qsynth
rather than the dssi plug-in. You might try that. I think rosegarden still
has some issues with its audio interface with jack - leading to the
dissconnection problems. I also find that when controlling transport -
synced to jack, that it is better to do so from rosegarden than from
qjackdtl or ardour or any other app with the controls. I also found using
the rrt kernel improved this situation.
