I am pretty sure you can. Here is my howto on this matter, this is the
document Blindman Jones was referring to:

I have connected 3 two-channel cards in sync this way giving me one
virtual 6 channel card. I have not tested this on anything else than
Fedora Core 1 CCRMA, though, so I would recommend to set this up on
FC1 first to ensure it works before trying to upgrade to a 2.6 kernel.
