and pd itself. 0.39-2 still defaults to oss, easy enough to fix (I would
default to alsa - I did that with previous versions). But if you start
it with "-jack" it does not create (stereo by default) ports
automatically, and even if you say "-channels 2" nothing happens, you
have to do to the jack dialog and change the defaults before the ports
get created. Anyway, I'm looking at fixing this.
