Well, that's all I know to try.
This is no longer an audio / ccrma problem, since it's
happening with the default FC4 boot as well, so probably
best not to keep sending to this list.
You might try collecting that data/info that's dumped during the crash
and do a google on some of that. Perhaps also check the Fedora
mailing lists... and maybe any lists at kernel.org
As far as getting your system working as soon as possible,
you may as well try the FC3 release... before installing the
CCRMA packages, verify your system is not having problems
by rebooting a time or two. Then upgrade all the normal FC3
packages and test the rebooting again.
If all goes well.. THEN try installing CCRMA for FC3, and if
there are problems we can pick it back up in this list.
