from what i can gather, it's similar to jack_fst, except is a bit more
robust, perhaps - it compiles against even the most recent Wine. torbenh
(galan) is the author, and you can get the download link from the galan
page: http://galan.sourceforge.net.

xfst is all i've been able to use for a few months now ... it doesn't
even seem possible to compile pre-beta release of  Wine on my FC4 box
anymore, in order to use dssi-vst. but i don't think there is a VST
instrument i've tried to use that hasn't worked with xfst yet :)
