Sigh... hard to say. FC5 should not be worse than FC4, I think. Do you
have more precision on what seems touchy on FC5?

So, for a system you install today I'd say FC5. Now, in a week or two
who knows :-)

FC6 is getting close to being usable, Ingo's patch is advancing rapidly
on top of 2.6.19. The latest (-rt12) seems to work fine for me on
uniprocessor systems. I guess I'm getting close to releasing a kernel
for Planet CCRMA / FC6. If you don't need low latency then the standard
FC6 kernel should be enough to get you started.
