Hi: 

I had a problem w/ a Delta 66 (w/ Omni I/O) a year or so ago. It was
buzzing god-awfully on a channel and another channel was dead w/
cross-talk or something crazy from the dead channel showing up (w/ lots
of echo) on the buzzy channel.. I got another Delta 66 card and tried
it's break-out box instead of the Omni... still buzzy. Switched Delta 66
cards... still buzzy!?

And this was persistent across reboots... including hard power-off and
unplugged from the wall even.

Well dang... I can't have two pieces of HW failing in exactly the same
way... I reloaded the software for the Delta 66 from scratch and it
fixed it right up.

And it's never done _anything_ like that since...

Not that this is your problem... but I was really surprised by my
symptoms that turned out to be SW. Looked dead sure like a HW problem to
me.... Give a try... can't hurt.


So... 'fore you go at stuff w/ a soldering iron... try a software
solution.
