So, I noticed that the ipw2200 comes up as an ethernet connection in my network setup menu. So I went added an ethernet device and sure enough, my ipw2200 is listed there. So I set it up and click activate but if just complains: ipw2200 device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.
