One more thing occurs to me, check for stray fc3 packages from Planet
CCRMA with:
  rpm -q -a | grep rhfc3.ccrma
Not that that would necessarily be a problem but if you have old
leftovers of critical packages (jack, ardour, etc) I would see why they
were not upgraded.
