Hmmm, you mean jacklaunch from libjackasyn? That's not really a plugin,
it is a way to launch some old OSS applications so that they can use
Jack, albeit with additional latency introduced by buffering inside
libjackasyn. 

Whatever works for you, no inherent advantages in xmms-jack that I can
think of, except for the added latency (irrelevant for just listening to
music).
