hmm. as user, glxgears segfaults first time! as root, ~224fps. then log
out and back in, user 314fps, root 244..
?? and after logout/login, snd works... ok, then!
this is intel 830 video card. i don't know about x acceleration.
strangely also, while showing no xruns now, while playing a file in
snd, if i adjust any of its views i get playback gaps and stutters.
plus the graphic if channel one goes away...

rtload status is normal (for us): any=1; gid=1; mlock=1
i hadn't reset jack priority. trying that now too.

well, i'll put up with fc1 for a while... i actually like fc3 more just
using it in a general sense.
