You should upgrade alsa-driver and the matching kernel-module-alsa to
the latest. Just "apt-get update" and then "apt-get dist-upgrade" should
bring in the latest planetccrma-core and matching packges. After the
upgrade alsa-driver should be 1.0.8-3. That includes a bunch of (perhaps
not perfect) fixes for the hdsp.
