It should be a good machine for you. What motherboard are you getting?
I think my xrun problems are more caused by the NVidia chipset. or
possibly some configuration trick I've not learned yet.

Anyway, if you have trouble you can fall back to a 32-bit version.
Partition your drive to allow you to load both and make it a boot time
option.
