[PlanetCCRMA] Adding a new card

Hi all,

I have a quick question...

At the moment, I have a complete and up-to date Planet CCRMA FC3 
installation. The box currently has a CMI8738 cheapo soundcard installed 
and working with ALSA.

I just bought an RME DIGI9636 second-hand. Will I need to do anything 
other than plugging in the card? Does ALSA automatically realise that 
there is a new card in the machine? Or do I need to configure it manually?
