hmmm .... this is a fresh install of FC3, and the above is your *first*
attempt to install the CCRMA packages?

make sure you follow these directions precisely:

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/installtwosix.html

the best way to go about it is to first install, before anything else:

apt-get install planetccrma-core

(or "planetccrma-core-edge" if you like a challenge).

what's in your apt-sources list?

what about:

cat /proc/asound/version

and

/sbin/lsmod

?
