Why am I not seeing 1.06a? Or is this a case where it is 1.06a but the 
name isn't updated since it's planetedge? I hope not...

It's working quite well for me on this same machine using Gentoo, so I 
know it can be done. Probably my Gentoo kernel and this Planet kernel 
are using different releases. I'll check that later.
