And, if I understand correctly, you are still getting the md5sum
mismatch problem when you try to run jackstart?

Hmmmm, strange. Try undoing the prelink on that binary:
  /usr/sbin/prelink -u /usr/bin/jackd
Check that everything you have is 0.99.0-2, with this:
  rpm -q -a | grep jack-audio
